Uncle K: I’ll fill you in when the time is right

Me: Alright

Me: I just don’t want to have another Adri situation

Uncle K: It won’t be

Me: Easy for you to say

Me: You didn’t lose her

Uncle K: Watch it boy

Uncle K: You don’t know what I lost

Uncle K: Like I said, we will talk about it

Throwing my phone against the wall. I pace the floor. If he wasn’t my fucking uncle, I’d gut his ass. I know he’s hiding shit and I will get to the bottom of it.

I’m not sure how long I’ve been pacing when I hear laughter coming from her room. Walking over to the wall that separates our rooms, leaning in to listen to her conversation like I always do.

“I’m serious, Jo.” her voice carries through the wall. “I think I’m falling for them.”

I hope that’s true, because she has us all wrapped around her finger.

“Atti taking me out for that date really made me feel special.” I know she is smiling based on the excitement in her tone.

“No, of course not.”

Damn, I wish I could hear the whole conversation.

“Only when I saw Stone fucking Cade.” She giggles.

“Of course I did. I rubbed one out in the tub, thinking about all of them touching me.” She sighs.

“Damn.” Adjusting myself.

“No. I’m too afraid after what happened.” Her tone lets me know she is still suffering with everything.

“I’d be willing to try it. I just need to find a way to get comfortable with it.”

“Jo! It sounds good, but I don’t know if I could handle someone bossing me around.” She says.

Stepping away from the wall, thinking of how I can help her. Walking over to my bed, sitting on the edge, still running through ideas. Right when I stand up, my phone starts ringing, so I lean over and press the green button.

“Yeah.” I answer.

“We need to talk. I have some information.” The sleepy voice says.

“Fine. Shelia’s in twenty.” I say, disconnecting the call.

This should be interesting.

I walk into the house, still reeling from all the information. Rounding the corner, seeing everyone lounging around. Looking around, locking my sights on him. I should beat his head in, but I have to be smart about this.

“Little Poison. You’re riding with me in a few.” I deadpan.

“Oh, kay. Do I have a choice?” She asks, causing me to raise a brow.
