Cillian tugged it free as the driver pulled away from the house. “You’re full of mischief, Little Flame.”

“Never,” I vowed, laughter in my voice.

Knox caught my leg, lifting it onto his lap and stroking my skin. “Wouldn’t want you any other way.”

His fingers teased and toyed as we drove, never venturing too high but driving me out of my mind just the same.

When we pulled to a stop, I blinked a few times. “The club?”

Cillian studied me for a moment. “We’re going to a different part of it. Will you be okay? I don’t want to bring back bad memories.”

I shook my head. “It’s fine.”

“We have double the security now, and you have your own personal guard,” Cillian assured me.

I grabbed his hand, squeezing. “I know I’m safe with you.”

His eyes glowed that deep green. “Good.”

Getting out of the limo, Cillian extended his hand to me, helping me out. I smoothed my dress down and took in the back entrance. There was no flash, but there were two huge guards standing by the door.

“Alpha,” one greeted, ducking his head.

The other simply dipped his chin as he opened the door.

Cillian led me inside, Knox and Cáel following behind us. The space we stepped into was completely different from the front area of the club. The patrons were as varied as you could imagine, from what looked like bikers to bankers, but they all held an otherworldly beauty.

Knox moved in on my other side. “This part of the club is only for supernaturals.”

“Oh,” I breathed, looking at everyone with new eyes, wondering what they might be.

The music here was quieter, more sultry. Booths were lined in maroon leather, and tables were made of black marble.

“Like it?” Cillian asked.

I could tell from his voice that he truly wanted to know.

“It’s beautiful,” I admitted. “Definitely more my speed than the cage dancers.”

Cáel chuckled, coming up behind me to whisper in my ear. “Wouldn’t mind seeing you dancing in a cage. For us only, of course.”

My skin heated at the promise in his words.

“Let’s get you a drink,” Cillian purred, leading me to the bar.

A man in a sharp suit dipped his head. “Alpha, what can I get for you?”

Cillian glanced at me. “Hayden?”

I swallowed, licking my lips. “Club soda with a splash of pineapple juice?”

The bartender nodded and took everyone else’s drink orders, as well. A man flagged down Cillian, and he was pulled away, but Cáel quickly flanked my other side as we sipped our drinks.

He and Knox kept finding ways to touch me, innocent brushes of their fingers that made me feel anything but. I pressed my thighs together, trying to alleviate some of the throbbing there.

“I think we should take her downstairs,” Knox rasped.

Cáel’s eyes flared. “Little intense for her first time here, don’t you think?”
