The hoodie fell to the ground, and I released her, watching as she removed her pants, leaving her standing naked before me. “Good girl. Now go kneel in front of the bed,” I commanded.
Alison turned and walked to the bed, kneeling in front of it but facing me. I took a moment to observe her as she assumed a submissive posture. Her gaze remained lowered, focusing on a spot on the floor. I entered the room, and she lifted her eyes, gazing at me with a hint of confusion, as I deviated from our usual routine.
I retrieved the cuffs we used to bind ourselves during the night and returned to her, locking her hands together behind her back. She turned her head slightly as I crouched beside her, watching me as I secured her wrists. Once they were bound, I pressed a finger to her chin, turning her head away from me.
“You’ve been staring, slave.”
“Sorry,” she whispered, though I sensed her apology was insincere.
I stood up again, and she tilted her head back slightly, her eyes fixed on mine with a hint of uncertainty. “Anything else?” she asked.
“No, we can play with our toys later. But you are not allowed to move, slave,” I commanded, and she nodded, accepting my order without protest. “I will be gone for a while. This dinner might take longer than expected.”
“Why do you say it like that?” Alison inquired.
She looked up at me with curiosity, clearly puzzled by the hidden meaning in my words. Still, I had no intention of revealing my plans for Astrid. That would remain a secret between me and my future wife. However, she wouldn’t know what was in store for her either, not until it actually happened.
“Master?” she inquired.
“Tonight, you just need to be patient, doggy,” I replied, sliding my hand down her hair as if she were a pet.
To my surprise, Alison turned her head slightly, leaning into my touch. I withdrew my hand, taken aback by her unexpected reaction. She typically disliked such degrading gestures, yet tonight, she seemed unperturbed.
“I will be patient,” she declared.
“Good.” I turned toward the door, but as I opened it, I stole a glance behind me, finding Alison still watching me. Her behavior was quite unusual today. She didn’t exhibit her usual attitude, and she was notably quiet. However, it was the way she observed me that perplexed me the most. Her gaze was unlike any I had seen from her before. It almost seemed like longing, but I dismissed that thought as implausible.
I walked outside and closed the door behind me, but Alison’s words from the previous night lingered in my mind:No, I saidthat because I couldn’t let you know that I wanted you to stay in the car.
It had shocked me to hear her say that, as it was inconceivable that Alison would ever want me to remain in her car. Yet, there was an unfinished sentence she hadn’t spoken, one I had prevented her from uttering, fearing its implications. I didn’t want anything to change between us. I had waited years to exact my revenge on Alison, and I couldn’t bear the thought that all my planning might have been in vain.
Shaking my head to dispel those troubling thoughts, I continued downstairs to find Vince waiting by the entrance. He greeted me with a smile, and I returned the gesture. Just as I descended the stairs, the doorbell rang, and Vince went to welcome our guests, who included Astrid, her father, and his nephews. I knew they hadn’t come alone, as they had their own guards stationed outside.
After Vince, I greeted them, but Astrid had the audacity to kiss me on the lips and then link her arm with mine. She was putting on a show, asserting her dominance in our relationship. Little did she know what I had planned for later.
“Shall we?” Vince suggested, and we all made our way to the dining room, where the household staff was busy preparing a sumptuous feast. The room was filled with the heavenly aroma of food, and we took our seats before indulging in the meal. Vince and Henrick were already discussing wedding details, and Astrid eagerly joined in, her excitement apparent. She undoubtedly hoped to have a compliant husband to fulfill her desires for a lifetime. Vince interpreted her enthusiasm as a positive sign, unaware of Astrid’s darker desires.
Her cousins engaged in conversation among themselves, but I couldn’t help but notice Finn and Michael shooting hostile glares in my direction. Noah, on the other hand, seemed more focused on his meal than any of the ongoing discussions.Nevertheless, I couldn’t resist the urge to taunt the two cousins by raising my glass in a subtle salute. Michael’s face still carried a dark blue color, and the satisfaction I derived from it was obvious.
“Just family sounds nice, right?” Astrid inquired, turning her attention to me. “Unless you want to bring your little toy along.”
She chuckled at the end of her question, and as I glanced at Vince and Henrick, it was evident they weren’t enthusiastic about the prospect of Alison’s presence. Of course, I had no intention of bringing her to this wedding.
“My ‘toy’ is going home,” I replied.
“Oh?” Astrid raised an eyebrow.
“By the end of next week, our games will come to an end.”
“How sad,” Astrid pouted, although I knew her disappointment stemmed from losing her leverage over me. “Well, I’m sure the wedding will be great nonetheless.”
Astrid took a sip of her wine, and I chose not to comment on her words. However, as the conversation continued, I felt something sliding up my thigh. I recognized it instantly and swiftly grabbed my fiancé’s hand, placing both of our hands on the table. I tightened my grip on hers, causing her to squirm and attempt to free herself.
She turned toward me, glaring, as if warning me not to go too far. Her reaction only encouraged me. Leaning closer to her, I whispered a threat into her ear, my grip on her hand becoming even more painful.
“I don’t bow, Astrid. Don’t test me tonight or it’s going to hurt,” I warned, pulling back to see a look of sheer shock on her face. She hadn’t anticipated my resistance.
I maintained the pressure on her hand for a moment longer before finally releasing it and returning to the meal with a sly smile. Vince, however, observed us with a suspicious expression in his eyes. While he may not have known Astrid very well, hewas familiar with my behavior and sensed that something was amiss tonight. Nevertheless, this wasn’t the time to discuss it.
