The Accidental Text

After breaking up with the world’s biggest jerk, I’m reluctant to get back into the dating scene. So my best friend, Paula, and I make a deal.

“If it’s ever going bad, shoot me a text, and I’ll come rescue you.”

I send the text to the wrong P – P for Professor Alexander.

I met Asher Alexander on a history field trip, three years ago, only giving me his number in case of an emergency.
