Unchained

I should turn him in. But I can’t.

A convicted fugitive has escaped from prison. And my brother is hunting him.
I’ve been warned to stay inside. Keep my doors locked. And to not go anywhere without my pepper spray.
But the prison is over an hour away, and the man is on foot. There’s no way he could make it here.
Right?
Wrong.
I’ve just walked straight into his hiding place. Straight into the line of danger. And if I make it out of this situation alive, I should go straight to the police.
Straight to my brother.
